Mr. Santosh Sankaradasan is Executive Vice of SBI Capital Markets, where he leads the PASF Project Advisory Structured Finance vertical at Mumbai.
His career spans over two decades in investment banking. At SBICAPS, Mr. Sankaradasan steers a multidisciplinary team of specialists in critical sectors such as Power, Roads, Ports, Oil & Gas, and Telecom, and is at the forefront of pioneering the company’s ventures into transformative domains like Datacentres, Battery Energy Storage Systems, Pumped Storage Projects, Electric Vehicles, Cell Manufacturing, Nuclear Power, and Semiconductors.
His leadership has resulted in tailored financial solutions for corporates, encompassing sustainable project finance involving equity and debt mobilizations, climate finance, mergers and acquisitions, asset sales, refinancing, acquisition finance, and restructuring of distressed assets.
Mr. Sankaradasan has collaborated with both Central and State Governments on pivotal policy initiatives. Some of his key contributions include the Concept-to-Commissioning role he played in setting up India’s Bad Bank and the resolution of the country’s 1st ever RBI led IBC of a large NBFC.
