Shri Arun Mehta was appointed as the Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer at SBI Capital Markets Limited (SBICAP) in January 2020. Prior to his appointment at SBICAP, he was the Chief General Manager – Financial Control at the State Bank of India (SBI) Corporate Center, Mumbai.
Shri Mehta has over 36 years of experience in banking, and started his career with SBI in 1985. He has handled various assignments both in India and overseas, across various functions, gaining wide experience in different areas of banking. He has previously worked as Vice President (Syndication & Investment) in Hong Kong; Deputy General Manager (Merchant Banking) in International Banking Group handling ECBs, FCTLs, and loan syndication; General Manager – Mid Corporate Group, Ahmedabad, responsible for the State of Gujarat as also Diu and Daman; and Chief General Manager, Financial Control, in the CFO vertical.
Shri Mehta has a Postgraduate degree in Economics and is a Certified Associate of the Indian Institute of Bankers.

Shri B.R.S. Satyanarayana has over 33 years of banking experience, having started his career as a Probationary Officer with the State Bank of India in 1988. He has held various positions both in India and overseas, across multiple functions.
Prior to assuming charge as the President & Chief Operating Officer of SBICAP with effect from 4 June 2021, his roles included being Chief General Manager of International Banking – II, managing the bank’s network in Asia, Africa, and Australia, with SBI being the largest commercial bank in India with over 22,000 branches. As the head of International Banking –II, he was responsible for driving SBI’s businesses which include institutional sales, loans & advances, liability products, trade finance and payments products in the allocated geographies. He has also headed the bank’s Financial Institutions Group, controlling the 235 correspondent banking relationships, and has been the Money Laundering Reporting Officer for International Banking Operations. He held the position of Country Head and CEO of SBI Japan Operations from 2012-2018. Prior to that, from 1988 to 2010, he undertook assignments spanning various facets of retail, agriculture, small businesses, investment management of pension funds, resource mobilization, and its deployment.
He has a Master’s degree in Financial Service Management and is a Certified Associate of the Indian Institute of Bankers.

Shri Mukul Modi is currently the Executive Vice President – Project Advisory & Structured Finance (PA&SF) team at SBICAP.
Shri Modi is an Investment Banker with more than 25 years’ experience in the Infrastructure Finance and Consulting Space – the last 16 years of which, have been with SBICAP. During this tenure, he has covered a wide range of sectors in Infrastructure and Core industries such as Power, Metals and Transportation for project finance, mergers and advisory. He was also involved in setting up and leading transactions in SBICAP’s Government Advisory in Mineral and Coal Auctions.
Shri Modi is a B.E. from BIT Mesra and holds a Postgraduate in Business Management from XLRI, Jamshedpur.

Shri Arnab Choudhury is a Postgraduate in economics from the Delhi School of Economics. He started his professional career in State Bank of India as a Probationary Officer in 1996. Shri Choudhury has worked in the SBI treasury dealing room, both at FX and Derivatives desk and was a part of the team that drafted the derivatives trading policy for the bank. After a brief stint with RIL (ADAG) group treasury, he joined Standard Chartered Bank, Bahrain in their Financial Markets team. Prior to joining SBICAP in August 2021, he was the country head of Financial Markets, Standard Chartered Bank in Bahrain. Shri Choudhury brings in expertise in both domestic and international financial markets in all asset classes and with clientele which includes Global Corporates, Sovereign Wealth Funds and Large Family Offices.
