    Position Objective / Responsibilities

    • Research and maintain information on the real estate industry, developers and competing funds
    • Source, evaluate and close real estate transactions
    • Prepare detailed financial models and information memorandum for real estate transactions
    • Prepare presentations of proposed transactions for the investment committee
    • Co-ordinate due diligence and documentation activities with external agencies and internal shared resources
    • Monitor and manage investment commitments
    • Networking / relationship management with Real estate developers and regulatory agencies
    • Complete all regulatory requirements including periodic reporting, draft and implement policies and maintenance of records
    • Manage and support investors through periodic reporting, capital calls and account statements

    Domain Knowledge Competencies: Part of team engaged in large and medium sized Project Finance, Infrastructure Advisory and Finance, Corporate Finance Advisory for Private and Government agencies involving Project appraisal, feasibility analysis, market analysis, capital & operating cost analysis, structuring of capital, Arrangement & Syndication of funds, Valuation and acquisition advisory, from origination to closure of the transaction.

    The job will involve critically evaluating the business plan, preparing of Information Memorandum (IM), various financing documents, building financial model for evaluation, assessment and risk and mitigation thereof.

    Essential: Knowledge of financial modeling, Presentation & Communication skills.

    Relevant experience in a Financial Institution/Large Lenders/Financial Advisors.

    Domain Knowledge Competencies • Establishment of various Compliance policies, procedures and oversee its implementation and updation – for SBICAP Products.
    • To identify and assess the compliance risks associated with business activities and advise the management on timely basis.
    • Compliance reviewing of Investment Banking documents such as NDAs, offer letters, issues agreements, etc. as may be requested by the Business.
    • Compliance reviewing of Infra advisory business documents such as NDAs, offer letters, etc. as may be requested by the Business.
    • Engaging with the Compliance and Risk officials at subsidiaries.
    • Periodical Compliance monitoring/reviewing of Susidiaries on Compliance Risk in line with the regulatory requirements and testing its implementation.
    • Assist in establishment of Systems and Controls and its review for SBICAP and its Subsidiaries.
    • Engaging with the capital markets regulators as may be necessary.
    • To ensure statutory compliance with SEBI and update business groups and management on regulatory amendments/notifications/updates etc and the implications of the same.
    • Periodical Compliance Risk Sensitisation and training to employees on Compliance aspects.
    • To identify potential areas of compliance vulnerability and risk, develop and implement corrective action plans for resolution of problematic issues, and provide general guidance on how to avoid or deal with similar situations in the future.
